Let me tell you about my days here. I would get up really early in the morning and lay out in the sun on the grass, which is my favourite thing to do. When my Mum and Dad get up (eventually) they come out and play with me in their PJs. They would then have breakfast outside with me watching and hoping that they would give me titbits off their plates, which they often do when I am really good. Even Forrest my new parrot brother would come out and breakfast with us. Forrest is really nice. He isn’t scared or bothered by me at all and I don’t harass him. My Dad keeps saying how gentle I am with every one and Mum tells me that I am a really good boy all the time.

I am also happy to report that I am starting to come out of my shell (or fur if you prefer). I am more alert than I have been in a long time, my ears are up and my tail is raised, curled and bushy rather than drooping between my legs.

My Dad is teaching me to be a sled dog. We are starting on his bike and I have Sherman my new Husky friend to guide me along. Sherman is really good at it and I am learning fast. Dad says I am better than Sherman when he was at my stage of training, and he gives me lots of praise.
Soon my Mum and Dad will be taking me to the beach with Sherman. They say we have some of the best beaches right here in Jervis Bay, and it’s only ten minutes away. I don’t know how I will go, but I’m looking forward to it.
These are pictures Mum and Dad took of us that I would like to share with you. I hope you like them.
Lots of love,
Manson Chong
