Sibes.Org was founded by a small group of Siberian Husky owners and enthusiasts from the SIBERNET-L community, to provide free, unbiased, complete and factual information about all aspects of the Siberian Husky dog breed.

This site is for you, the Siberian Husky community. Whether a Siberian calls your place home right now, or whether you're thinking about adding one to your family, whether you are an animal care professional or simply a Husky enthusiast, whether you train, show, breed, race or just plain love Huskies, this is the site for you.

We love Huskies, we love everything about them, and we hope you will too. Please look around the site, you will find a wealth of information compiled from the experiences and opinions of contributors from around the world who all share the same common interest: The Siberian Husky breed.

Sibes.Org is not for profit. We rely on the generosity of volunteers who give their time to freely to maintain the site, and we are proud of the fact we are independent and have no commerical affiliations or sponsors to please.

Owning a Husky is not always easy, and our aim is to provide as much information and help and as many resources as we can for the benefit of Huskies and their owners everywhere.

Sibes.Org was convened in June 2002 and was officially launched in December that year. It is a joint effort from members around the world and the site is staffed entirely by volunteers who take on the responsibility of maintaining, extending and supporting the site to continue to bring you the best information resource on Siberian Huskies possible.

If you would like to become part of the Sibes.Org editorial group, we may have a position for you. If you decide to take on an editorial role you will find it enormously stimulating and rewarding, as well as challenging.
