Siberian Huskies can live for as long as 15 years and have a joy and energy for life their owners will often envy. With proper care your Husky will grow to a comfortable old age and have relatively few health problems to worry about.
Huskies have very few breed-specific problems both due to their natural genetics and the careful work of breeders in ensuring the health of each new generation. As with most breeds, before you breed your Siberian Huskies you would test for hip displaysia and eye problems to make sure your puppies won't suffer from these problems.
Just as it is with humans, a good diet and lots of exercise will keep a Husky both happy and healthy, and always feeding your Husky top quality food will make sure they never have vitamin deficiencies or other nutrition problems.
But perhaps the best thing about Huskies is the good health they bring us through joy and companionship.
